Gemma and Mathieu’s winter wedding day in Saskatoon was the kind of day that just works — snow-covered, crisp, and quietly beautiful.
Their ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Saskatoon was warm and full of love, surrounded by the people who matter most to them. There’s something about a Saskatchewan winter that strips everything back and lets the important stuff shine through. And on this day, that was completely the two of them. Warm, joyful, and so genuinely happy to be getting married.
We headed out to Champetre County for portraits, and honestly — a snow-covered property like that in a Saskatoon winter? It doesn’t get much better. The bright winter light did what it always does — made everything feel a little magical.
The evening wrapped up at a small town hall reception, which felt just right for them. Unpretentious, warm, and full of the people they love most.
It was a really, really good day. I’m so glad I got to be there for it.
