Johnna and Ambrose’s wedding day in Edmonton, Alberta was a beautiful, peaceful one — and honestly, it couldn’t have felt more like them.
Johnna is an old friend of mine, and one of the calmest, most grounded people I know. That energy carried through every single part of the day. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt forced — just a quiet, steady joy that made the whole day feel easy and full.
Their ceremony at St. Joseph’s Basilica was both grand and intimate. The architecture, the light, the way they stood together at the altar — completely present and completely at ease. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
The rest of the day unfolded just the same — big laughs, calm pauses, and a whole lot of fun. Johnna and Ambrose are just that kind of couple. The celebration carried on into the evening at the beautiful, cozy The Bell in Scona Brewery and the good energy never let up.
It was such a privilege to be there for it all.
